First of all, this game is not at all English-friendly. You would have already noticed this from the bad translations in the dragon encyclopedia.

It is a shame that many English speaking users no longer play this game, but I just wanted to gather up some tips for those who still love this game.

In terms of contents, there are 3 Main Areas you can enjoy in Dragon Village. Raising Dragons, Colosseum (PVP), and Trade.

1. Raising Dragons

The stats of your dragons are determined at birth. The grade of your dragon ranges from 5.5 to 7.0, with 7.0 being the highest. It is recommended that you hatch your dragon at a grade of 7.0, especially if it’s a rare dragon. 

But beware, the grades may drop as you level up your dragons. Each dragons have their own stat growth value. When the dragon levels up, the stat increases randomly within the growth value. If it does not reach the maximum value, the grade of your dragon may drop down to a grade of 0.0 To raise your dragon at a grade of 7.0, you need to constantly use the “Level -1 item” until your dragon levels up with a maximum stat growth value. 

There are two different routes in which you can raise your dragon. Make sure you check from the dragon book so that the dragon you wish to raise has either of the routes.

1. The Capsule — Awake — Jin Awake route. 

At adult level 35, you can create a capsule (which you would have learned during Darknix scenario) to feed your dragon to make it smaller and cuter. At Capsule level 40, you can awaken it at the underwater Estella temple. It only requires a Persion Crystal, which you can obtain from daily attendance. 

IMPORTANT TIP: Between each step, the decimal places are rounded up when you evolve your dragon. This means that up to a grade of 6.5, your adult dragon can become a grade 7.0 capsule, same for your 6.5 capsule awaiting to be awakened. BUT you must raise your awakened dragon at a grade of 7.0, as the next stage, the “Jin Awake” stage, would require LOTS of ingredients depending on the current awakened dragon grade.

The final step of this route, “Jin Awake” route, is the most difficult dragon raising route in Dragon Village. It requires 3 Awake dragons, 1 which will be “JIN” awakened and 2 awake dragons which will serve as the ingredients. 

Here, “Jin” basically means “true form” in Korean , it’s simply bad translation from Korean. Blame the devs.

To complete this step, you would need to collect 5 different types of “Archa’s Essence” and “Black Crystal” from Thursday’s Castle Defence at Sky Realm. Though there are different types of Jin Awakened dragons, DEFENSE type is the strongest amongst them.

2. The Transcend — Advent route. 

This route requires more diamonds and gold. Though it comes at a high cost, Advent dragons, regardless of its type, are the strongest form of dragons in Dragon Village. If you are looking forward to fight in the Colosseum, this route is strongly recommended. 

To transcend your dragon, visit the World of Dreams, where you can transcend your level 20 dragon using Jewel of Transcend. Each dragon has their own Transcend grade, and they can only be transcended at level 20.

You can look up the Transcend grade of your dragon from the link above. For beginners, I recommend you dragons like Dimension or Deathlock which has a high Transcend grade. These dragons are easily obtainable through trade — which I will explain in my next tip.

So what is a Transcended grade?

When you transcend your dragon, the grade will temporarily drop. This is completely normal, but you would have to use items called “High Essence” and “Master Essence” to raise the dropped grades. This is why you are not able to use level down items on transcend dragons.

The Grade at which you transcend your Dragon is the MAXIMUM GRADE IT CAN REACH!!! For this reason, you MUST MUST transcend your dragon at a grade of 7.0

DO NOT produce “Jewel of Dream” from Eclipse’s Box! This also applies to Jewel of Transcend!! These two items may be difficult to create for beginners, but they are easily obtainable through daily attendance and annual events.

The final stage of this route is “ADVENT.” Advent dragons are generally the most powerful dragons in the game. They are all equally powerful, but to obtain them, you need one 7.0 level 45 transcended dragon and two other grade 7.0 level 45 dragons (any stage is fine) which will be used up as ingredients. Similar to “Jin awakening,” this step requires tons of Archa’s Essence (I will elaborate on this in my next article). 

Once you “ADVENT” your dragon, you would have to go through the same steps which you took to raise your transcended dragon. You cannot use level down items, but you can use “High Essence” and “Master Essence” to raise the dropped grades.

BUT there is a way which you can raise your dragons at a low cost.  App Data Delete is the most basic technique which every Dragon Village Players must learn. The data of this game is only saved in the server when you press “save” from the in-game settings. This means that you can force delete your recent data like many people do when they play Pokemon. You can do this by searching up the application settings for Dragon Village in the control panel. You can save expensive items such as Awaken Lv +1 and Capsule Lv +1, by deleting data until you reach maximum stats. This is the most basic technique you should use when you raise transcend dragons, as you cannot use Level down items on them.

IOS users, unfortunately you cannot use this technique. sorry :( But you can delete the entire app, which will basically delete the recent data.
