Scenario 11: Divine Intervention

Initiation Location: Clear Last Scenario, enter the Celestial Caves

Scene 1: ​

Scene Location: Celestial Caves

​- A loud roar causes you to awaken from you slumber. You exit your tent and eye the entire room to find the source. Jimon, Nuri, and Chumley are fast asleep, and the source of the noise is no where to be found. The only sounds you hear are the snoring of the three, the dripping of water, and the occasional footsteps of something unknown. -

You: (Wait... footsteps? There's something else here besides us.)

- You decide not to wake others up. You head on deeper into the cave. On your way, you hear the rumbling voices of two bickering creatures ahead of you. As you approach them, you find yourself standing face-to-face with two familiar dragons: Aether, the holy white dragon, and Nether, the black chaos dragon. -

Aether: This is not right, Nether. We should be helping the humans, not attacking them!

Nether: You've grown too soft, Aether. The Grinch will have your head for the words you speak.

Aether: It is not the Grinch who I follow. And you shouldn't either, my bretheren.

Nether: You disgust me, Aether. We should unite our minds like our hearts. Since the day we we're born, we've been at war for the same body. Now that we're separated, we can exist individually. But this is only temporarily... we are two sides of the same coin. We cannot exist without each other. Thus, we must embrace each other and stand against this dragon tamer and fight!
Aether: I will never intentionally side with you. Your heart is black, tainted with the stench of evil. I will never side with a heart like yours.

Nether: Intentionally, eh? Wonderful! Wonderful! For a heart so pure, you give evil great ideas! Very well, then, I will proceed as you suggested!

- There was a flash of light, cloud of darkness, and an ear piercing scream. When it was all over, there was no longer two dragons standing before, but only one, half white, half black. -

Aether: (What have you done to me?!)

Nether: (I have taken over your body, so that you may fight for me.)

Aether: (I don't understand... why?! Why, my brother?)

Nether: (To defeat our common enemy, the legendary dragon tamer. You should feel honored to face such a being!)

Aether: (You fool! If you fail, you will perish, and so will I!)

Nether: (On the contrary, if I win, I won't perish, because you can't!)

Aether: (What do you mean?)

Nether: (You have the power of the Gods, a barrier that surrounds you. You cannot be touched! You are invincible. We won't lose!)

Aether: (You're using my powers against him!? What if your wrong, and you lose?)

Nether: (It's a foolproof plan! I can't lose. And if I do, you're body will take the hit, but mine won't)

Aether: (You monster... you fiend!)

- Nuri, Jimon, and Chumley catch up to your position -

Nuri: What's going on?

- Nuri catches sight of the black and white dragon. -

Nuri: Eek! Who's that?

You: Trouble.

- Aether turns to your position and glares at you with bright golden eyes. -

Nether: I am Aether, Protector of the Gods. You have trespassed on Sacred domain! It is by their law that you shall now be punished!

[Begin dragon boss battle]

{Select 3 dragons to participate. You may use mercenaries}

BOSS: Aether

LEVEL: 100

HP: 1500

ATK: 600

DEF: 200

ELEMENT: Holy

SKILL 1: Barrier of God Level 5

SKILL 2: Cross-Block Level 5

Entrance Message: By the Power of Amour!

"No mercy!"

"No forgiveness!"

"No salvation!"

(Monster Raging Strike): "All sins must be punished!"

If tamer is defeated:

Message: Holy and Chaos... as one? We need to retreat now and figure out a gameplan!

If Aether is defeated:

Message: Aether collapsed to the ground, seriously injured. Poor thing...

Scene 2: ​

Scene Location: The Celestial Caves

​- As Aether collapses to the ground, a black smoke begins to leave her, which forms into a seperate black dragon. Aether returns to her normal color, and begins to disintegrate. -

Aether: My brother... why?

Nether: For the good of all things. The future world has no place for weaklings like you. Only the strong and intelligent may survive.

Aether: But... we're family.

Nether: Family or not, if you cannot take the heat, you are no use to this world. Good-bye.

- Aether closes her eyes and falls asleep, while her body disintegrates into oblivion, leaving behind an egg of her former self. -

Nether: (What is this? She returned as an egg! I must destroy it!)

- Nether rushes towards the egg and attempts to smash it. However, the egg retreats and hovers over to levitate in front of you. -

Jimon: Tamer, I think that egg wants to join you!

- You nod your head and touch the egg. The warmth radiating from the egg soothes your mind, and you find yourself lost in another plane of existence. -

{Upon completing this Scenario, you are rewarded with the Aether Dragon Egg. However, no new location opens}
