Scenario 5: Pretty in Pink

Initiation Location: Clear Last Scenario, enter the Frosty Meadows

Scene 1: 

Scene Location: The Frosty Meadows

- You leave behind the White Shores and make your way into the Frosty Meadows. True to its name, it is covered in frost and snow. -

Nuri: It's so cold... I'm freezing!

Jimon: How do you think I feel? I have no clothes!

- You stop in your tracks as you hear a faint sound -

Nuri: Do you hear something? What is it?

- You hear a faint outcry coming from the distance. -

You: That... that sound.

Nuri: What sound? I don't hear anything.

- The cry becomes louder. -

Jimon: I hear it too. Sounds like someone's in trouble.

- All of a sudden, the voice becomes loud and clear. -

???: Help! Help! Somebody help me!

- A tiny elf run appears out of the snowy bushes and hides behind you. -

You: What is it? What's wrong?

- The tiny elf quivers in fear, stammering as he shook. -

???: A monster... a monster attacked me!

- A high pitched trill erupted from behind the bushes. -

???: Here it comes now!

- From behind the bushes, a large familiar pink dragon appears and confronts you. -

[Boss fight begins]

???: That's it! That's the one who's been tormenting me! Please be rid of it!

{Select 3 Dragons to Participate in the fight. You may use mercenaries}

BOSS: Pink Belle

LEVEL: 100

HP: 1375

ATK: 240

DEF: 90

ELEMENT: Wind

SKILL 1: Wings of Judgment Level 5

SKILL 2: Bone Crush Level 5

Entrance Message: "What are you doing here?!"

"I don't want to fight you!"

"Go back home!"

"You're so persistant!"

(Monster Raging Strike) "Ha! Don't make me laugh!"

Upon the tamer's defeat:

Message: The Guardian of the Forest... here?! We'd better flee for now!

Upon Pink Belle's defeat:

Message: Pink Belle collapsed to the ground in submission. Your work is here done.

Scene 2: 

Scene Location: The Frosty Meadows

- Pink Belle stumbles backwards as you approach her. -

Pink Belle: You monster... you foul fiend! You ruined my manicure! Do you realize how much trouble I went through to get my nails polished!?

Nuri: You had... a manicure?

- Nuri couldn't hold back a brief chuckle -

Jimon: I'm confused... what's a manicure?

Nuri: It's a treatment for nails. It makes them look all nice and shiny. But I've never heard of a dragon getting one.

Pink Belle: We dragons love to look nice and pretty, especially during mating season.

- Nuri bursts out in laughter and fell over. Pink Belle glares at Nuri. -

Pink Belle: You think this is funny, do you? I'm sure there are lots of dragons who get manicures and spa treatment! I am no exception!

Jimon: She's right. Dragons are very proud creatures. They might even be a little eccentric when it comes to how they look. I myself enjoy a little spiffing up now and then.

- Annoyed, the tiny elf waves his arms to get attention -

???: Hey guys... this is all a nice talk and all, but what about me? I just got attacked here!

- You ask Pink Belle why she attacked the little elf. -

Pink Belle: An order from my master, Grumpy Christmas himself. Why else would I attack this little numbskull?

- You ask Pink Belle if she heard of the name "Grinch" -

Pink Belle: Of course I have! He was the one I was referring to. You must be the legendary dragon tamer he was talking about!

- You ask Pink Belle if the Grinch is already on the island. -

Pink Belle: Yes, as a matter of fact, he's on his way to see Father Christmas right now... said he had some business to take care of... whatever that meant.

- You ask Pink Belle if she knows the way to Santa's Workshop. -

Pink Belle: So many questions! What do you think I am, your answer machine? You humans certainly have a lot of nerve seeking knowledge.

- You sit down and explain the situation to Pink Belle. -

Pink Belle: Oh my! I had no idea the Grinch was going to destroy Santa and his workshop! I'm just an assistant of his... he never tells me anything... says I'm a weakling and a softy.

- Pink Belle turns to the Elf. -

Pink Belle: Sorry for all the trouble I caused. I really don't like fights, but I do what my master orders. You can call me Belle from now on!

???: Okay Belle. There's this thing about outsiders and strangers that were not supposed to talk about. What happens in Wonderland, stays in Wonderland. That's the rule. Nothing comes in... nothing goes out. Understood?

- Pink Belle nods her head. The Elf turns to face you. -

???: As for you, young lad, I thank you from the deepest depths of my heart for your help. If it were not for you, I'd be 'Belle' food right now. My name's Elaro. I can guide you as far as Glacier Mountain, but that's it. From there, you're on your own. Understood?

- You nod your head in acknowledgement. -

Elaro: Good! Then we're off to the Snowy Plains!

Scene 3: 

Scene Location: The Frosty Meadows

- As you set off towards the Snowy Plains, Pink Belle nudges you on the back -

Pink Belle: Um... hey. I have a favor to ask you.

- Silently, you listen to her plea. -

Pink Belle: I carry a precious item with me, but it is only one of two. The Grinch carries the other. He warned me that if I betray him, he'll destroy my precious item that he holds. In addition, I'm worried that if he finds out about this second item, he may destroy it as well.

- You ask what item of hers he possesses. -

Pink Belle: It's a dragon's egg. My offspring. I am worried for its safety. I carry one too. Can you look after it for me?

- You tell Pink Belle that she has nothing to fear, and that you will look after her precious egg. -

Pink Belle: Thank you.

{Upon completion of this chapter, you are rewarded with a Pink Belle egg, and the Snowy Plains location is unlocked for traveling.}
