(영어 주의)

❗️우선 갑작스럽게 영어로 글을 올리게 된 이유를 밝히면서 양해를 구합니다. 드빌1을 하시는 외국인분들을 위해 용어 번역을 하게 됐습니다. 전용 디**드 채널에 올리려고 보니 스압이 생길 것 같았고, 취지 상 팁게에 올리는 게 좋겠다고 판단됐습니다. 외국인용 페이지가 있는 것도 아니며 이 게임을 한국인 분들만 하시는 게 아니니까요.(외국에서 이 홈피에 접속 가능하며 실제로 외국분들께서 이 사이트를 이용하시고 계십니다.) 그리고 외국 커뮤니티가 그렇게 크지 않은 이상 한글로 된 팁들 이용이 강제되는데, 번역기만 가지고는 애로사항이 상당합니다.  다시 한 번 양해 부탁드립니다.

* Since I heard that there's a word limit per post, I'll divide the thing into multiple posts. (1 chapter/post) The English names are those used in the actual game. Typos fixed.

[NOTICE] I'd like shout out the amazing people in the discord server called 'Dragon Village Players' for all their effort despite the language barrier they've been tackling since years ago. If they didn't do so then I could've not have met them in the first place though it was very recent, and could not think of making a whole translation of the stuffs. They are great people who care A LOT even though DV isn't a life business for them. It's sheer enthusiasm. If you're using the tips in the server please at least thank them for gathering the infos + making/maintaining the programs + not getting paid for running/playing for Eden/the server/English DV wiki for which they also attributed a lot.

Also, since this post is targeted to foreigners I am not dealing with how you trade with real currency here. What I'll be talking about is egg trading. If you really have to trade with real money, find a Korean middleperson, or get a Korean method of paying(ex. Kakaopay).

A very quick edit: I can't upload part 4(last chapter) on this site because it has videos those cannot be uploaded here. If you need to know how you type with a Korean keyboard, please join the discord server to view it.

EDIT 08/15/2025: I added the customer center translations on the discord server, but couldn't do it here too bc the screen just freezes if I do so. RIP. Please join the server if you need them. (Plus they are not going to accept any complaints shown outside of the customer center. I'm not advertising the server. Just saying it as a matter of fact.)

III. How to use the trade forum in the home page

ONE: On tablets or PC

Note: The only difference when doing it on mobile is the button locations so read this part even if you're doing it on your phone.

(1) Sign up to the official page(aka homepage)

To use the trade forum, you first need to sign up(register) to the official page. But don't worry, you don't need to make a new ID if you already have your DV game account. If you're reading this post, you're already seeing the official page. However since some people may have to read this while doing the whole thing, let's just start up from scratch. Copy paste dragonvillage.net (main page URL) on a browser, and you will see a screen like this:

 (As you can see in this ss, even though I switched the language to English on my tablet, most of the texts on the page don't switch.)

Press LOG IN on the left, and you will see this screen:

If you log in via typing into that slot, you're logging into a Highbrow integrated account. Do this if you first logged in into a Highbrow account when you made your game account. If not, log in through the corresponding icon underneath the log in bar. (Ex. If you made your DV account with your Google account click the Google icon.) If you are done, the screen switches to this:

You have 2 options. The most simple option is to enter the trade forum by using this link: https://www.dragonvillage.net/trade

If you're using the link make sure that you click '전용거래'(4-lettered one) on the top left of the red colored posts to go to the egg trade(not real currency trade) forum, unless you are going to use real money for trading. But I don't recommend doing it unless you have a Korean payment methods bc of the currency difference. If it's your first time using the trade forum, continue reading this post since I will be explaining how you can use the forum throughout this post.

It's fixed to the egg trade sector.

The next option is to manually enter the trade forum:

Scroll down from screen shown in the sc just before the first option, and you will see the megaphone picture:

Click onto any letters next to the megaphone

and that means you're clicking onto a post in the trade forum.  Scroll down from this screen.

Click that button in the blue circle and you will see the trade forum. It looks like this:

Make sure that it's clicked on the word called 전용거래 (4 letters) (even if you can't read Korean you can see how it looks) on the top of the red colored posts(notices). Click the button in the circle to post something in the trade forum.

...And let's stop for a little and see how you can add things in your post.

(2) Codify your item

If you're planning to sell a card code or a book code, then you can skip this process. However, the code you are about to sell MUST NOT HAVE BEEN USED. Card codes and Book codes are single-use. If you already used it:

If it's an egg or a decoration(skin), you must recode it, and I will deal with how to do it right after explaining this. If it's not an egg or a decoration, there's no way to undo it.

Now let's see how you codify your item. You can only codify certain eggs(unless it's a special instance), and dragon decorations.

1. Log into your game account, and select the item in your bag(in the cave). If it's a decoration, you will see the 'CODE' at the right bottom of the popup. If it's an egg, click on any incubators AND DO NOT HATCH IT. Right after you clicked on an incubator, a popup will ask you if you're going to hatch the egg. At the right bottom of this popup, you will see the 'CODE.'

Click on 'CODE', and you will see another popup. It looks like this:

Press 'OK' and you are codifying the dragon using 10 dias.

Note: There are uncodable eggs. Even if you see the popup for those eggs, it will say you can't codify that dragon. The only way to codify it is buying the codifier item(also works for hatched eggs) but it costs nearly 50k KRW, and is only for sale twice a year.(Jan/Jul) Just to make the post as simple as possible, they have the list of uncodable eggs in the discord server I posted the link of in the top of this post. If you can't code a codable egg, it's bc there's a cooldown for recoding the egg. Wait until the next day at least if it's the case. (I'm not sure how long exactly but normally if you wait max 2 days you can code it.)

Now click on 'CODE' at the top of the inventory(bag popup) and you can see the items you have codified. If the code is used, the code disappears from the inventory. The codes are single-use.

(Yes it's a free crecent egg for you)

Click on the item name, and press 'COPY.' The code will be copied into your clipboard. Now let's go back to the trade forum.

(3) Registering the codes

Go to the writing page. If you forgot or didn't read how, read (1) Sign up to the official page(aka homepage) in this post.

You can Ctrl+F or scroll up to find it. Once you opened the corresponding page it will look like this:

You must enter a title to upload the post. The title is normally 'Looking for (name)' or 'Selling (name).'

You don't need to write a body. Scroll down from that screen, and you will see this bar:

Type or paste the code you already have. Be reminded that the code should've not been used. Also make sure that you DO NOT TYPE THE CODE IN THE BODY OF THE POST. IT WILL EXPOSE THE CODE, AND PEOPLE CAN TAKE IT WITHOUT PAYING YOU.

Type the code in the typing slot then press the black box on the right. This is the registering process. If it's done, it will look like this:

You can add up to 10 codes per post. Once you've finished registering the codes, click the blue box in this screenshot, and your post will be uploaded to the trade forum.

(Don't worry; your free crecent is still there bc I deleted that post right after I took the screenshot LMAO)

As you can see in the ss, the code is viewable but that's only for you; if someone logs into another account the code won't be viewable like this:

You can scroll down in your post, and delete it if you want to. If that's not the case, wait until someone offers something. When someone offers sth there will be a comment posted on your post like this:

I took this on my phone but it works the same for PC and tablets.

If it's what you've been looking for, click on the white box on the right of the commenter's code. Then there will be a popup appearing like this:

If you're on mobile, the black box is the accept button. If you're on a tablet or PC, the blue box is it. The black box on a PC or tablet is the cancel button.

Once you accept it, your code will be viewable to the opponent, and you won't be able to see the code. Vice versa. A trade can't be undone after the accepting of the code(s). You can use the code in the spirit lodge in the village(in the game). There will be a box at the top left of the screen when you click on the lodge.

This is the process of trading eggs.

A super small tip but rather important for not being scammed: Normally you can't be scammed when trading eggs on the official site, but you do be scammed when you misread the item or the egg's name. So make sure you are not mistaking it.

TWO: On mobile

The process is exactly the same as when you're doing it on PC/tablet so please read what's above. In this chapter I will only be explaining  the button locations.

This is how it looks when you view the official page(home page) on mobile:

On top left of this screen you will see the circle with the question mark in it. Click on it to log in. It will show this screen when you click on it:

The blue box is the log in button.

Once you've logged in, the circle with the question mark will be switched into your home page pfp. Scroll down from the screen you see right after you logged in. You will see the megaphone picture. The process after this is the same as PC/tablets.
